Hi, I am Pam I just want to be creative every day. I would love to collaborate with others to create something that inspires people and challenges me as an individual. I have always wanted to be a part of something bigger and, through that, connect to other creative individuals. I want to live a life of unique experiences through my work. I do want my work to net me a position; I want to be a designer and build a creative image. I want my art to make people smile and feel that it is cool to be weird, and that you can be any type of person and enjoy a certain image or style that may not match yours or your peers. I think that sometimes people forget that some of their favorite artists or media came from individuals who probably got bullied for being different. I often see this behavior in people who move in creative scenes, where they have an elitist attitude towards others and are overly concerned with fitting a status quo, with the facade of their taste in film, music, literature, visual arts, or whatever they find interest in. It is difficult for me to explain, as much of it comes from a place of feeling and paranoia, even. I think it’s incredibly important to break through the pressures of coolness to allow yourself to find understanding in the dumbest of things. I come from a background where I was always just kind of strange, and I felt a lot of things were not for me, or that I did not belong in a lot of spaces because of this. I think that's where, with my creations, I kind of want them to be for everyone. I want the weird kids to feel inspired that they too can belong and just do what they like, and I want the people that are overly concerned with being cool to break free from that a little. Artists I find inspiration from are my bosses, Dom and Nat, they own happy99 together; Dan Paladin (known for his art for the gaming studio The Behemoth), John K, the creator of Ren and Stimpy, and my friends! My friends push me to be my best self every day, and I want to inspire them as much as they inspire me. Some Projects I have done and liked were the bath to school project, where I was in charge of designing items to give away. I did a game called I’m stale here where it’s just three mini levels of very mundane things. I liked this game because I imagined it almost as a walking sim, where you can’t win; the game is simply just experiencing the mundane moment. Dipsomania is another game I worked on with my friends Megan and Vega. Your goal is to drink as much beer as possible without falling over. It was very trashy, but it was making fun of America, and I think it’s fun to make media surrounding American culture.
